Mermaid

Dynamic physical theatre company Shared Experience stage a new play adapted from Hans Christian Anderson's fairy story 'The Little Mermaid'. Polly Teale adapts and directs the production which is a modern re-imagining of the tale of a mermaid who falls in love with a landlubber and sacrifices her fins (and her soul) in order to be with him. Music is an important part of the production and SE are recruiting women between 14 and 20 to be the sound of the mermaid's song.
