Laurent Pelly's acclaimed 2010 staging of Massenet's sad, charming opera about a frail young woman's fall from grace returns to the Royal Opera House. This co-production with the Met Opera, La Scala and Theatre du Capitole is conducted by Emmanuel Villaume with a cast including sopranos Ermonela Jaho and Ailyn Perez. American tenor Matthew Polenzani is Manon's lover Chevalier des Grieux.
