Opera Siam (formerly Bangkok Opera) presents the Thai ghost opera by Somtow Sucharitkul. This macabre story is set in a Siamese village replete with grand guignol effects and haunting melodies. Soprano Nancy Yuen stars in the title role as Thailand's scariest femme fatale, a folk character who has been frightening children for over a century. With NKyu Won Han, Emma McNairy, Vassilis Kostopoulos, Zion Daoratanahong and Siroj Sakudomkachorn. Conducted by Trisdee na Patalung; the director is Stefan Sanchez. Sung in English.
