Madam Butterfly

Puccini's tale of corrupted innocence and disappointed hopes returns to the ENO in Anthony Mingella's popular staging. The choreographer Carolyn Choa brings her late husband's production to London, with a new cast including Mary Plazas (Cio-Cio San), Gwyn Hughes Jones as Pinkerton and Pamela Helen Stephen as Suzuki. Oleg Caetani conducts.
