Time Out says

This fascinating new show – a co-production with the esteemed Improbable – was inspired by its directors' interest in gifted older actors who cease stage performing due to worry about remembering the lines. 'Lost Without Words' bypasses this completely: the actors have no script, but are required to improvise each night, drawing upon their lifetimes in the theatre. Phelim McDermott and Lee Simpson direct a cast of six seventy and eightysomethings.
