La bohème

The traditional Royal Opera production of Puccini’s world-famous opera brings Parisian life of the 1830s to the stage with two casts of international stars, including Anja Harteros (Mimì – Angela Gheorghiu, June 19 & 23) and Joseph Calleja (Rodolfo – Roberto Alagna, June 19 & 23), with Nuccia Focile (Musetta) and Fabio Capitanucci (Marcello – George Petean, June 19 & 23). Directed by John Copley; the conductor is Semyon Bychkov (Maurizio Benini, June 19 & 23). Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
