A trilogy of shorts – ‘Towards Evening’, ‘Walkies Time for a Black Poodle’ and ‘Knocking on the Wall’ – from Scottish playwright Ena Lamont Stewart, best known for her 1947 play ‘Men Should Weep’. All of them concern women on the edge of society whose lives are changed by chance encounters. Finlay Glen directs.
