Jack and the Beanstalk

This very Peckham panto follows local girl Lucy, who tries to track down the wrongdoer who's breaking into homes around Peckham. Then rapper Shot the Poet sells her neighbour Jack a handful of beans, and the kids set off on a London version of the classic fairytale. Theatre Peckham's show will use a cast of local youngsters alongside professional performers. 'Jack and the Beanstalk' is written by Paul Sirett ('Reasons to be Cheerful'), is directed by Suzann McLean, and has songs by Wayne Nunes and Perry Melius.
