Isango Ensemble: Mysteries

South African ensemble Isango arrives at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Easter with its take on the 14th century Passion Plays which cover the whole of the Bible. The company performed 'Venus & Adonis' during the Globe to Globe festival and return with a choral version of the 'Mysteries' in Xhosa, Zulu, English, Latin and Afrikaans.
