House of Cowards

The first revival of poet and playwright Dannie Abse's play in 50 years, which coincides with the year of his 90th birthday. First performed at The Questors Theatre in Ealing in 1960, the sardonic, provincial comedy is set in 1958 and tells of what happens when a famous speaker comes to a town inhabited by downtrodden folk to speak on the human condition.
