French writer and director Gerald Garutti's musical performance traces the footsteps of Haïm Lipsky. A poor, Polish Jew, he survived the concentration camps through his talent for the violin. This piece tells his story through a mixture of classical music and klezmer songs, played by an onstage musical quartet.
