Time Out says

This new musical from British Asian company Rifco is a melodrama-heavy show inspired by true tales of UK actors and dancers who’ve gone on to work in Bollywood. After a chance encounter with a Bollywood director, unassuming Frankie does indeed jest off to the heart of the Indian film industry in Mumbai. But as her fame grows, so do her doubts about corrosive influence of money and power in the industry. Devised by Rifco artistic director Pravesh Kumar, the show recieved warm notices with a run at Watford Palace Theatre earlier this year and now bags a coveted summer slot at the Southbank Centre.
