For the Culture – Celebrations of Blackness Festival

Lyric Hammersmith is filling January with joy thanks to this uplifting festival. Centring Black British artists, writers and thinkers, it's designed to be an inclusive weekend of events with something for all comers. The line-up includes cabaret star Le Gateau Chocolat's 'Raw Cacao', a mixtape of the songs that shaped him, plus poetry from Lemn Sissay, kids' show about the 1920s dance star Josephine Baker 'Josephine', podcast '90's Baby Show', plus food, discussion, beauty and more.
