John Wilson's WWI drama was first performed in 1964 with a starry cast including Dirk Bogarde. Now, it's being revived for the WWI centenary, in support of the Royal British Legion. It's a courtroom drama that follows a shellshocked young soldier on trial for deserting the battlefield, and the lawyer who fights to save his life. 'For King and Country' is staged by Dilated Theatre at Southwark Playhouse, and directed by Paul Tomlinson.
