Time Out says

After a dry run at Hampstead Downstairs (where plays are aired without theatre critics being invited in) this debut play from writer Phil Davies is getting a transfer to the West End. It sounds like a suitably topical thriller about child grooming, responding to the revelations in Rochdale, Rotherham and Oxford. Hampstead artistic director Ed Hall directs 'Firebird' which follows Tia, a mouthy, but vulnerable young girl drawn to the older AJ.
