End of Species

The theatre hammered together from reclaimed wood in 2011 is still standing, two Empty Space Awards and two years later. It's most recent 2013 'collection', as the theatre bods call it (to most of us, a festival) features two shows a night from a series of emerging, distinct companies and theatre makers. The sixth week opens with Australian-born Richard Pettifer's piece about the performer's journey on a boat from Australia to the UK, mirroring the journey Charles Darwin took in 1831. The piece runs alongside 'The Game' in the festival, called N.O.W. '14, and the price includes both evening shows.
