It’s difficult to know exactly what to make of this new immersive show without having seen it, but it certainly sounds intriguing. Made by new company Sage & Jester, Storehouse is set inside a warehouse that stores every British paper ever. But new leadership of the store is required, so competing factions clash over ownership of the truth. The show would seem to an immersive adventure that’s a riposte to misinformation and fake news – a potentially somewhat worthy conceit, but there seems to be money behind it, so let’s see eh? The project is spearheaded by one Liana Patarkatsishvili, ‘a formidable media executive and cultural innovator with first-hand experience of how misinformation can shape societies’.
