Louis Nowra's play is a riff on Mozart's comic opera Cosi Fan Tutte, set in a psychiatric institution. Young theatre director Lewis attempts to marshal a cast who can't speak Italian into staging a musical classic, as Vietnam War protests simmer beyond the institution's walls. Australian director Wayne Harrison (former Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company) directs this contemporary take on music and madness.
