Notting Hill theatre The Coronet is coping with the lockdown by launching ‘Coronet: Inside Out’, a programme artists’ workshops, readings and film screenings. Audiences will be able to stream ‘Mayakovksy: The Tragedy’, an avant-garde verse drama by the Soviet playwright Vladimir Mayakovsky, directed by directed by artist William Kentridge and performed by Katlego Letsholonyana. On May 13, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Hisham Matar will be reading from his new book, ‘A Month in Siena’. The virtual season also features a Zoom writers’ seminar with Hanif Kureishi, author of ‘The Buddha of Suburbia’ and Oscar-nominated screenplay for ’My Beautiful Laundrette’. Find out more here.
