Time Out says

Chickenshed was founded in 1974, on the premise that the performing arts belong to everyone who wants to join in. This North London theatre's inclusive policy has attracted a loyal fanbase of all ages, who attend a year-round programme of theatre, kids shows, live music, and community events.

Performances are held in one of four spaces including, in summer, an outdoor amphitheatre. Chickenshed is especially good at catering to the young 'uns with a full programme of childrens theatre shows. 'Tales from the Shed' (Friday and Saturday morning) is aimed at under-sevens, bringing stories, both original and traditional, to life.

What’s on

Pan

Pioneering kids’ company Chickenshed takes its dedication to inclusiveness to radical new limits with a new adaptation of JM Barry’s beloved story about the boy who never grew up that features a cast of over 800. Admittedly there aren’t 800 speaking roles – there is a core cast of 18 – but it sounds like a remarkable night out in terms of logistics alone. For ages five-plus.
