Time Out says

Following a staged reading at the Finborough's playwriting festival, 'Chicken Dust' gets its debut outing. It's the first play by Ben Weatherhill, and it's set on a chicken farm in rural England. Following Tim, whose job it is to grab seven chickens at a time and ram them into cages, we see a farm that begins to suffer from disease, as the chickens begin to die as soon as they've arrived. The price we pay for cheap meat is a hot topic at the moment and this play taps right into the thorny issue.
