Lengthily subtitled 'A writer's response to Owen Jones' "Chavs: The Demonisation of the Working Class"', this collection of short state-of-the-nation plays sees six young playwrights explore some of the issues raised by Jones's much-publicised 2011 study. The brainchild of new writing group Waifs + Strays, it features the work of Sarah Solemani, Eleanor Lawrence, Steven Hevey, Kenneth Emson, Jake Brunger and Brad Birch, and here returns to the Lyric after a sell-out premiere and a successful spot at Latitude.
