Hablas español? Whether it's a yes or no, you're in for a treat. CASA Latin American Theatre Festival celebrates some of the best work from across the continent, staged in English or with surtitles. Check out 'Otelo', a Shakespeare play hilariously reimagined using grotesque, 'erotically-charged' puppets from Chile's leading object theatre company. Or, more seriously, discover 'Efemera', a piece about surviving gendered violence in Brazil and the UK. There are also retellings of 'Macbeth' ('Mendoza') and 'The Maids' ('All the Actress Needs to Succeed is a Great Play'), and 'Osmo', the story of a serial killer with a literary bent.
'UK Week' celebrates emerging Latin American artists in the UK. And finally, the festival finishes up with 'Here We Cook With Love', in which award-winning chef Martin Morales cooks Andean dishes and shares memories from his Peruvian childhood.
