Time Out says

French film star Juliette Binoche last hit the Barbican stage in a disappointing production of Strindberg's 'Miss Julie' in 2012. There should be no such worries on her return, though: the visionary Belgian director Ivo van Hove – the man responsible for the Young Vic's earth-shattering recent production of 'A View from the Bridge' – will be helming this production of Sophocles's tragedy. Binoche will star as noblewoman Antigone, condemned to die by the state when she refuses to let her brother die unburied. The English-language international co-production is based on a new translation by the poet Anne Carson.
