Time Out says

A London summer without ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ is like a London summer without a single nice day: technically possible, and has probably happened in the past, but still overwhelmingly unlikely. There are no big productions of Shakespeare’s fairy-filled comedy lined up in 2022, but redoubtable open-air theatre stalwarts Iris are presenting the ‘Dream’ as their big summer show. Directed by Sara Aniqah Malik, the conceit to this take is that the play’s young lovers have run away from their high school prom into the enchanted woods where the usual magical merriment and horseplay (well, donkeyplay) takes place.
