If you're happy cycling as a leisure option but are nervous of commuting in traffic or unsure of aspects of it such as road rules, signalling, changing lanes and positioning, this series of lunchtime skill and knowledge sessions could be just the thing as summer approaches. Sessions last 30 minutes to an hour, depending on each participant's availability, and cover different themes, including route planning and advice (May 2), a women's maintenance session (June 6) and cycling for fitness (July 4). Meeting point is Finsbury Avenue Square. No equipment is provided, and helmets are recommended.
