An exhibition of artefacts, graphics, film and audio from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, on show in London for the first time, telling the story of the Olympic Games through the endeavours and achievements of ancient and modern Olympians. Displays include Olympic medals and torches (visitors can have their photograph taken with the London 2012 Olympic Torch), and a 'Hall of Champions', featuring the stories of athletes from the modern Games, as well as sections dedicated to the first Olympics held in Ancient Greece and the work of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the man behind the revival of the Games many centuries later. The exhibition runs for the duration of the London 2012 Olympic Games and is a key part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. For updates see http://www.roh.org.uk/about/the-olympic-journey
