Despite the boutique’s Mayfair setting, much of Gary Wright and Sheila Teague’s much-imitated-but-never-matched jewellery is affordable for the average person: silver bangles hung with a single charm, say, or beaten silver studs. Prices rise for yellow and rose gold designs and rings set with gemstones. There’s a pleasingly organic feel to many of the designs, which shun fussy detailing in favour of clean, simple lines. Some of the ranges look to other cultures and societies, and the latest – Nuba – features colours, signs and symbols inspired by Africa. The men’s collection includes chunky chain bracelets, inscribed rings, pendants and tactile, pebble-like silver cufflinks.
