Kokon To Zai specialises in avant-garde, weird and wonderful fashion. The buyers are adept at picking up young designers from the nearby London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins, so you’ll often see new names here first. The selection is constantly changing, but labels the shop continues to stock include darling of the nu-rave scene Cassette Playa, Bernhard Wilhelm and Vivienne Westwood. Ever present, however, is Marjan Pejoski, who made Björk’s famous swan dress. Look out for his line of jewellery too; quirky silver and diamond pieces start at £250. For offbeat streetwear look no further than the house label KTZ, which excels in T-shirts and sweats with wacky prints (from £40).
