Tufnell Park was transformed more than five years ago by the arrival of the delicatessen Flavours on Campdale Road in what had previously been a foodie desert. Now the deli is one of a handful of food purveyors to have a presence in the tiny and perfectly formed food market that has sprung up outside the glossily revamped Tufnell Park Tavern. The usual bread, cheese, cakes, and fantastic meats are on offer, as are the much sought after ice-creams made by Julie Fisher, surely the world’s only photographer turned ice-cream maker.
