The Great Brixton Bake-Off II

Riffing on the BBC's hugely successful 'Great British Bake Off', this live event sees some 30 bakers present their finest cakes, biscuits, savouries, vegan bakes and bread to a panel of judges (including Melissa Morgan of vegan bakery Ms Cupcake and the managing director of Patisserie Valerie, Victor Scalzo). Local bakers also have to man a market stall, meaning market punters get to indulge in baked treats throughout the day. The event also features live folk music and a tea dance at noon and children's baking and craft sessions between 10am and noon. Winners will be announced at 2.30pm.
