Owners Jane Petrie and Katy Hackney set up this cute shop on Cheshire Street some ten years ago, and it’s become a key destination when searching for a unique gift. The well-edited range of items for sale are intensely covetable, making it difficult to leave emptyhanded.
Stylish notebooks and stationery, innovative ceramics – such as the adorable range from Berlin-based designer Frerk Muller, and storage jars and mugs from the Moomin Valley Collection – glassware from Japanese brand Shinzi Katoh, Rob Ryan-esque prints, beautiful wooden toys, including a set of ‘naked’ Russian dolls, are all sourced from designers and artists worldwide. A box in the corner is full of typesetting letters from silent movies that Petrie once picked up in Los Angeles.
