Hackney dwellers may be familiar with the quaint boutique Broadway Market salon Good Old Days, which has been preening local barnets since opening in 2010. However, though it may not be obvious from the outside, it's now been fully taken over by former part-owner and hair don Corrado, who has rebranded it as his second stylish Radio salon.
Similar to its bigger sister on Redchurch Street, Radio Broadway Market is a chic space with minimalist styling, hip art, flowing glasses of prosecco, a great range of Bumble and Bumble products and a team of experienced stylists moving between the two locations.
Don't be fooled by the fashionable interior, though – unlike lots of east London joints, this salon isn't style over substance. Corrado runs a tight ship and whether you go for cut, colour, up-dos or a blow dry, you'll be in good hands. And should you be feeling out of place among the trendy Broadway Market dwellers and are looking for a revamp, this could be just the spot.
