The spa of the swanky 4-star Dorsett Shepherds Bush hotel, that opened in June 2014, is a pampering haven off the busy Shepherds Bush Green. Perched on the hotel's eighth floor (check out those views on the way up), Pavilion reflects Dorsett's East-meets-West concept, offering a number of Asian-inspired treatments administered using Western methods. Its Hong Kong owners' nous means you'll find products here that are hard to get hold of elsewhere in the UK, such as cult brand Ling New York.
Treatment rooms, done out in English-heritage-style decor, are immaculate and calm, and the treatment list is thoughtful (and extensive) – from facials using beautifully-scented organic products from Pinks Boutique (from £40), to Agera anti-acne treatments for teens (£30), to Green Tea strip waxes (from £20) and hi-tech LPG slimming and anti-cellulite treatments (from £40). The spa also offers OPI manis and pedis from £25. Other treatments, like manual lymphatic drainage and sports massage are avaiable on select days by appointment. Pavilion also has a steam room and infra-red sauna, so you can get the full benefits from your treatments – and there's a gym you can use at £10 a pop. Well worth a visit.
