French designer Sophie Albou’s Paul & Joe is a seductive space with interiors that resemble a princess’s boudoir and match the romantic, elegant and forward-thinking collections. Think classic French tailoring with a contemporary edge: structured jackets, wide-leg trousers, fringe and lace detailing, alongside impressive party dresses, all in flamboyant prints and feminine fabrics. And there’s a make-up range to match. Albou named her brand after her two sons and aimed to introduce variety on to the menswear market (gents should visit the Floral Street branch).
