Lovers of costume jewellery flock to Maggie Owen’s jewel of a shop located off Lamb’s Conduit Street. Behind the beautifully tiled frontage of London’s first dairy, the shop (designed by architect William Smalley, with parquet flooring lifted from the V&A’s jewellery department) showcases a lovely collection of bold, contemporary jewellery by the likes of French designer Philippe Ferrandis (whose distinctive necklaces started the story), along with innovative and talented designers such as Anton Heunis, Extasia, Simon Harrison and Patrice. The collection is enhanced by must-have lifestyle products: silk scarves, luxurious laptop bags and elegant fragrances. A second shop opened in Chancery Lane at the end of 2008.
