Harrods' Chanel takeover

Time Out says

Harrods has handed over its gold-plated keys to hyper-chic fashion brand Chanel. The collaboration isn't limited to window displays: on the third floor, installation 'Une Promenade' takes the form of a journey through Chanel's 'design codes' (pearl, monochrome and the camellia flower) and on the ground floor the 'Knightsbridge Collection' from Chanel's creative director of make-up is on sale. Shoppers will find the Chanel boutique open until late September. True to Harrods' in-house style of, um, understated sophistication, the boutique comes with red walls, snarling lion heads and a kitsch fake forest.
