Going for a Song vintage jumble

Every first Saturday of the month, New Cross indie pub of choice The Amersham Arms plays host to a super fun shopping and singing extravaganza for lovers of the offbeat. If you're in the mood to buy, you'll find a clothes sale and pub jumble offering shoes, clothes, jewellery, crockery and bric-a-brac. If you'd rather sing, you can take to the open mic to soundtrack everyone else's shopping. There's also a comic and CD swap, and portrait and caricature artists at work. It's free to get in, and combines our three favourite things- shopping, booze, and karaoke- what's not to love?
