A new cosmetics brand concentrated on limiting the amount of toxin we put into our bodies through our make up, INIKA and John Lewis are teaming up for an evening event at Oxford Street. Founder and CEO of INIKA, Miranda Bond will host, and be talking about subjects like ‘how to avoid the top ten toxic chemicals hiding in your bathroom’. There will also be demonstrations of make-up products and application techniques. We tried a few samples and were especially impressed with the eyeshadows; a little goes a long way and the shades are genuinely very vibrant (powder blue especially). Along with being 100 per cent vegan and halal, and free from talc and parabens, the products feel well made and worth the middle-range price tag; a super soft kabuki brush is £23.50, and staples like smooth liquid mineral foundation can be found for £29.50. And the best bit? The first 60 people will be gifted with £40 worth of free make up. Clear your schedule ladies!
