Located opposite buzzy fashion boutique, Start on Shoreditch’s Rivington Street, Fiorentini and Baker’s newest London store is all dark wooden floors, retro sofas and low lighting making for an informal, intimate shopping experience. The one staff member in store was friendly and attentive fetching various shoe sizes and giving honest feedback on what looked good and what didn’t. Here you can buy men’s and women’s leather boots. This Anglo-Italian brand works with small factories in the Bologna area – all of the shoes have an appealing handmade look and sell well on Net-a-Porter. The current collection includes clumpy wooden-healed sandals, chunky-heeled biker boots (for both men and women) and cute suede brogues, which we have our eye on, as well as small selection of slouchy leather bags. Prices start at £230 for ankle boots.
