The selection of 20th-century furniture and objects is very thoughtful. The shop specialises in post-war design from the 1950s and ’60s, such as an orange Theo Ruth sofa or a Neil Morris cloud table, and you’ll usually find pieces by well-known designers such as Arne Jacobsen. But it’s not all about names here. Stock is interesting even if it is anonymous. There are attractive 1940s Murano glass chandeliers that have been resin-coated to bring them up to date and give them more masculine appeal (£1,400) and neon works of art by Chish and Fips. Fandango has a restoration workshop, and will email images of pre-madeover pieces before they arrive in the shop.
