Islington stalwart Diverse does a fine job of keeping N1’s style queens in fashion-forward mode. Despite the cool clobber, chic layout and striking window displays, this is the sort of place where you can rock up in jeans and scuzzy Converse and not feel uncomfortable trying on next season’s See by Chloé. And while you’re there, you might as well give that Marc by Marc Jacobs dress a try, and maybe a little something by Vanessa Bruno, and those Repetto ballet slippers are looking good, come to think of it.
You get the picture. This is a well-edited collection of incredibly desirable garments, plus some original jewellery, accessories and shoes thrown in for good measure. There’s plenty for the more feminine or classic dresser too, such as Diana von Furstenberg and tasteful Parisian label Isabel Marant. Dutch label Humanoid is also represented, as well as Sonia Rykiel, APC and APC Madras and Future Classics. There are also Open Ceremony shoes, Elliot jeans and gorgeous cashmere from CASH CA.
