Couverture and Scarlet and Violet Florists

Whether it’s dahlias that tickle your fancy or it’s all about the orchids, it’s difficult not to love the Chelsea Flower Show.  While bouquets of blossoming blooms are perfuming Chelsea village, and strict judges are scowling at wilted peonies, Notting Hill concept store Couverture has teemed up with florist Scarlet and Violet to host a pop-up shop. Pretty British flowers will be bursting out of hand-crafted ceramics with accents of gold: a fitting tribute to the gold medals that will be handed out at the Chelsea Flower Show itself. If you fancy having a go at learning how to arrange flowers into retro designs, you’ll also be able to pick up signed copies of Vic Brotherson’s book, ‘Vintage Flowers’ on the day.
