Time Out says

An international fireplace empire that began when Paul Chesney and his brother Nick realised the value of discarded antique fireplaces 25 years ago. Chesney’s Battersea showroom stretches over four shopfronts, providing ample space to display an impressive variety of antique and reproduction chimneypieces. Made in China from limestone and marble, there are over 50 period-inspired styles (£500-£25,000) to choose from. Modern designs come courtesy of partnerships with designers such as Jasper Conran and Jane Churchill. Chesney’s also has a licence to recreate a collection of chimneypiece replicas from the archives of Sir John Soane’s Museum. A bespoke service is also available; call for details.
