Time Out says

This expansive store situated just off the heady eclectic thoroughfare in Brixton has everything you need to make a house a home, whether you're looking for a cheap TV from £15, a fridge from £30 or a three-piece-suite from £100. On our visit, there were plenty of artily distressed pine goods in good condition starting from £99 for a TV unit. Items are sold quickly, and thanks to donations there is always new stock coming in so it's always worth checking in again from time to time if you don't see anything that catches your eye on first visit.

While it doesn’t make for the best ambience, the bright lighting allows you to see the quality of the reasonably priced furniture in all its second hand glory – so there are no surprises at home. Perhaps taking inspiration from Ikea, the open-plan layout is segregated by room type, from lounge, kitchen and dining to bedroom – where several beds and a whole host of wardrobes line the back wall. Amongst the electrical goods you can also find other white goods like washing machines as well as several CD players, DVD players and more. Helpfully, the store operates a delivery service for up to six items (charges vary according to area), as well as a free collection and house-clearance service too.
