Paul Bernstock and Thelma Speirs first met at Middlesex Polytechnic in 1979 and have been attiring east London’s best-dressed heads since 1982. Everyone from Julie Christie and Boy George to Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham has bought one of their bonnets, which are creative reworkings of classic styles.
Collections include veiled bobble hats with bows, baseball caps tarted up with tulle and bunny caps. The brand has also collaborated with designers Peter Jensen, Emma Cook, Agnès b, Jean Paul Gaultier and Richard Nicoll in the past, and has a concession in Liberty.
