First impressions
Roz said: ‘On paper, he was definitely my type: tall, dark and bearded. He seemed quite relaxed and friendly. He was wearing glasses, which he said was so that people wouldn’t recognise him! But there were still good vibes.’
Luke said: ‘She was well dressed and easy on the eye, though in an incredibly low-cut top. Initially, I thought she probably wasn’t my type. She was very confident straight out of the blocks and I wasn’t that attracted to her at first.’
Chemistry
Roz said: ‘Conversation flowed really easily and we had lots in common. We talked about festivals, music and food. He really made me laugh. We definitely didn’t run out of things to say, and we made a pretty good dent in the cocktail list too.’
Luke said: ‘The whole thing was a bit of a laugh. I didn’t find myself amazingly attracted to her, but she was fun. We drank a fair bit, which is always nice, and we both seemed to like the food and drink a lot. She was probably a bit overconfident for a girl I’d go out with.’
Afterwards
Roz said: ‘We ran for the last tube and had a kiss goodnight. He took my number; we’ve texted a bit and I think we’ll see each other again. It was nice, and he lives in Clapham, so it’s quite convenient.’ 4/5 stars
Luke said: ‘I don’t think there was a proper spark. I did take her number, and I think there was a little kiss, but my memory escapes me. I don’t think I’d see her again in a romantic capacity.’ 3/5 stars
