First impressions
Stephen said: ‘She seemed nice and bubbly straight away. We got chatting really quickly and easily. It all flowed well. I normally go for someone a bit smaller – I mean height-wise! But she was definitely my type.’
Rachel said: ‘I wouldn’t say I’ve got a type, but I thought he was really good-looking. He’s quite an eccentric dresser and he looked really smart: it was nice that he’d made an effort. He immediately put me at my ease.’
Chemistry
Stephen said: ‘I thought the chemistry was really good. It’s a bit hard to tell if it was friendly or romantic. I didn’t get too much of a romantic vibe. We chatted all the way through. It was good fun, actually. I wasn’t 100 percent sure about where it was going.’
Rachel said: ‘We got on so well. I don’t know if it was a romantic thing or more like pals. We had a very similar sense of humour:
I just laughed the whole time. We had a lot in common in terms of films we like, we both love travelling and stuff. There was never a dull moment!’
Afterwards
Stephen said: ‘We were both feeling quite boozy so decided to call it an evening. We exchanged numbers and a kiss on the cheek. I’ve actually been texting her and I’ll definitely see her again.’ 4/5 stars
Rachel said: ‘He asked for my number and walked me all the way to the station. He even offered me his coat. There was no goodnight kiss, but we had lots of high fives. We’ll definitely hang out again.’ 4/5 stars
