To celebrate Time Out’s annual Cheap Eats guide, we’ve teamed up with Thomasina Miers’ award winning Mexican street food restaurant, Wahaca, to offer 200 lucky winners a chance to lunch on their two newest seasonal Street Food Specials and slurp on an Agua Fresca for just £2, next Tuesday March 10.
Inspired by the markets of Mexico, Wahaca has been spicing up London’s dining scene with its fresh, locally sourced street food since 2007. Their Street Food Specials give you a regularly changing taste of Tommi’s seasonal favourites, plus for each dish sold, Wahaca donates 20p to UNESCO backed charity Ednica, helping to educate kids living on Mexico City’s streets. Right now, at any of Wahaca’s restaurants barring Southbank and Covent Garden (where they have another exciting menu), they are serving up a pickled veg and British ham tostada with a pinto bean puree, and slow-cooked, chipotle-marinated beef barbacoa tacos, served with fresh slaw and chile de arbol salsa.
