This Italian restaurant has been going since 1964 - that's more than 50 years of serving classic Italian dishes from this charming little trattoria setting in Bloomsbury. And the name? From Giuseppe Verdi of course, so don't be at all surprised to hear snippets - from the piano - of Rigoletto, or La Traviata.
The menu is filled with recognisable Italian classics. Expect dishes ranging from insalata caprese, bruschetta and antipasto misto to spaghetti alle vongole, fettuccine al salmone, veal escalope cooked in marsala wine and a long list of pizzas.
Desserts include zabaglione, gelato affogati and own-made desserts served from a trolley.
